Acer Inc. announces its first half (1H) 2010 financial results, approved by the board of directors. Consolidated revenue was NT$312.4B (US$9.7B), up 31% year-on-year (YOY). Operating income reached NT$8.5B (US$264M), growing by 52% YOY. Profits after tax (PAT) reached NT$6.9B (US$214M) and earnings-per-share (EPS) was NT$2.62.

Acer Inc. announces the preliminary financial results for the first half (1H) of 2010. Consolidated revenue was NT$312.4B (US$9.7B), growing by 31% year-on-year (YOY). Operating income reached NT$8.5B (US$264M), growing 52% by YOY. Acer’s profit after tax (PAT) was NT$6.9B (US$213M) and earnings per share (EPS) was NT$2.60. Compared to 1H 2009, the PAT was NT$4.37B (US$135M) and EPS was NT$1.66.

After announcement of memorandum of mutual understanding related to both parties’ ICT business signature on late May, Acer Inc. and Founder Tech are now further strengthening their long term PC business cooperation: Acer will be responsible for the operation of most of the Founder branded PC business, in terms of the planning, marketing and supply chain management of PC products for the Chinese Market. The Suzhou Factory of Founder will continue to provide supports to the manufacturing of PC products. Founder Tech will co work with Acer on the development of products for the local market. Furthermore Founder will also act as Service Provider  for Acer’s after sell service network.
